On March 30, the Lord called Joyce home to glory and the gift of eternal life.

She was an active member of the Macoupin County Homemakers Community and Education organization and was a Macoupin County Farm Bureau Primetimer. Joyce also shared her Christian witness in the community of Carlinville serving as a pianist at weekly church services held at several area nursing homes. For many years, she taught young adult and later senior adult Sunday school at Emmanuel Baptist along with serving as church pianist. The Lord used Joyce as His servant in various ways throughout her life. and later received her diploma from Carlinville High School.įrom 1973 until her retirement in 1991 Joyce worked as a physical therapist assistant at Weatherford Sunshine Manor in Carlinville.Ī devoted Christian, wife and mother of five children, Joyce made a profession of faith accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior alongside her husband on Septemat Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carlinville. Joyce attended high school in Washington, D.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Pete and dear son-in-law Brent E.

Olroyd II whom she married on Decemin Hillsboro. God richly blessed Joyce with husband Peter W. Heaven is rejoicing in the arrival of Joyce R.
